Anger and confrontation

My son (21 and still at home) is easily irritated and is often confrontational with my husband. I suspect this is just regular father son stuff but after the argument he will punch the wall and doors out of sheer frustration.

I've just left a comment on your 'tiredness' post and I feel sympathy with this one too. I have always had a problem with my temper, sometimes I get so angry I have to walk away because I fear I may lash out with my fists - in the past they have made contact with peoples faces! I can control my temper now to a degree but always try to avoid confrontation because I know that my temper will get the better of me and I will come off worse. Exercise helps, especially running. I can get so angry I become consumed by it and if I don't rid myself of this feeling (by going for a run) I can become very violent.

Being easily bored or tired doesn't help either.
