hi everyone

You've come to the right place! Masking the tinnitus with wireless headphones is how I cope. Not always practical but for when I can't I know I'll be getting a break from it at some stage.
Hi, I remember the early days of T and the desperation I felt. No one could understand what I was experiencing and doctors gave little hope for improvement. 10 years on I still have T, and on some days it's worse than ever but I no longer feel desperate. Habituation (the NHS can really help with particular techniques) was a real help and now I'm mentally stronger and able to cope and live normally. If you're feeling desperate and depressed just know you're not alone and can truly overcome and live a relatively joyful life. I preach habituation to all who will listen, others have different techniques they use to cope so I'm sure you can find tools that work for you. Hang in there, your future is brighter than you think.
thank you I must admit there has been times I could scream
Scream , cry , sob, yes been there . Guess we all have x Then we go on a mission to find the one thing ( or more ) that helps us cope . It can take quite a whike. , not in making it go away , but making it bearable . Then we find times / moments that we almost forget about it . It’s not a quick fix.
