Hi, back in August 23 I noticed a pulsing sound in my right ear only and also a fullness with a slight numbing to that side of the face. It took around 6 months of waiting to see an audiologist. In between that time I noticed that listening to the tv was getting more difficult to understand the clarity of speech and also my wife was saying that I was talking louder than normal. Also the annoying repition of saying " What, can you say that again"
After my audiology appointment in early June I have found out that I have sensory neural loss in both ears. Left ear high frequency loss, right ear both high and low. I also need hearing aids in both ears.
Today is the day my audiology report will be looked at by an ENT specialist and will wait for next steps. It has taken from August 23 to now to get to this point.
Just introducing myself as I find this forum is so helpful in understanding a host of symptoms in relation to hearing loss.

Thanks Rosie for your helpful info. I am now waiting for the ENT report from my audiogram and then I'm guessing an MRI. It just takes so long to get a diagnosis which is coming up for a year.Ted
