Mindfulness for Tinnitus...the journey home.

Hi all, hope your well.

I developed Tinnitus 15months ago and still have it.

After going on a long journey with trying to "find a cure"....i realised that perhaps.."i am the cure".

I say this because before having Tinnitus, i qualified as a Mindfulness Coach and learned the root cause of all my perceived challenges come from "the mind" which we have more control over than we allow ourselves to believe sometimes.

Since i was very young, ive always been interested in Mindfulness and used it to navigate though life's challenges i.e. weight loss (lost 50kg), handling a miscarriage & manage insomnia.

Mindfulness and CBT are seen as the gold standard support for tinnitus management and so im keen to offer my services to those who may be in need of it.

I recently led a Mindfulness for Tinnitus session in North West London for Tinnitus UK and am in the process of designing a bespoke course for Tinntius patience given feedback from others as aswell as my own Tinnitus frustrations and pain points.

💫My mission is to build a Mindfulness for Tinnitus support group where i lead mindfulness practice / we share our reflections / we meet frequently online / form a community on WhatsApp / set eachother tasks to reflect on between sessions based on CBT exercises.

If any of the above is of interest, please get in touch and id be happy to have a chat.

Many thanks,

Amit
