I know enough about my problem. What I feel I need is physical steps to help reduce my problem not more talking and chatting about it.
solid physical positive step to really make a difference.

I think many of us hear and understand the sentiment; it would be great if there was a tablet, operation, something that could just turn the T off; we all still function normally regardless of the noise, so why is it there? It's not adding any value! But there is nothing like this right now, and as it's not deemed life threatening by the health care systems, the approach is where we are. It appears to be that habituation and learning to live with it is the approach. I'm just pushing through it myself, given up on our local GP/NHS as they are not able to help even with the talking part. It is very hard.
I fully agree with you Hodgy62. We need effective physical treatment.
There is hope for people who suffer from tinnitus and hearing loss caused by the loss of hair cells. Scientists are working on it. But will we live to see it?
From looking at your previous post, Hodgy62, you appear to be describing either eustachian tube dysfunction, temporo mandibular joint disorder or muscular spasms as being root causes of your tinnitus. Those are all underlying physical issues which an ENT surgeon would have an interest in - have you been able to see someone in that field?
