Hi Community - picking up on a recent post re Gig ear ‘protection’(!) - do any of you have any views on whether external head phones might work for being at a gig/similar ..? - it’s just that my ears can get sore ‘n tinnitus worse after too much wearing of hard things like earbuds when listening to music / Zoom type calls etc. My current soft earplugs (foam) sometimes can’t even handle screening out certain concert sounds ‘n I end up going out or holding my ears tight!
Best & thanks in advance - VeeCat.

Do you mean the ear defenders? I am going to guess they might work better? The Peltor ones reduce noise by -35db which is more than any ear plugs. They do look like they belong on a building site though!
