Morning, just bought a new air fryer, turned it on last night and noticed an instant sensation in both ears, as if someone had put something into my ears. This disappeared after I left the kitchen.

The ears and the T feels normal today but could exposure to this noise cause my T to get worse. A difficult question to answer I guess.

Thanks

Hello, I use an air fryer almost every day and it doesn’t affect my tinnitus at all. I’ve used one for years.

certainly if I’ve been in a noisy environment- coach trip comes to mind - then then T ramps up afterwards as the brain is seeking some kind of noise to compensate. For me, this goes off after maybe an hour, maybe a couple of days, so the T then returns to normal.

Yes certain things do affect T. Mine = car rides, home computer. music.

thanks, realised mine also reacts to the computer, tv and car. Sort of goes from a tone to a hiss?
