I was wandering why modern medicine don't take us seriously. Carbamazepine and GABA are use to treat same type of brain disorders.

hi Aldo - just seen yr post - have u or anyone u know had T relief with those meds that u mentioned? In UK docs are reluctant to give 'relief' meds for T ( except anti depressnts) . I do know that in US and other parts of the world that Klonapin ( Clonazepam) can be given for T relief but i understand it is not helpful in long term

Hi Suz26! Docs don't take us seriously. Give for T almost nothing. But UK is terrible! My sister lives there, she has a kidney problem, and she is very angry with your health system! I'm trying some things (no meds) and my T. is getting much better. I'm doing it all on my own from what I researched.

1.- Mother tincture of Valeriana plant in the morning and Passinflower plant at night before sleep with l-theanine (supplement or green tea Matcha), but you don,t have to take medicine for sleep!

2.- Magnesium L-Threonate (only this Magnesium works well with T.) five hours before sleep.

3.- GABA at midday with food mixed with l-theanine (supplement or green tea Matcha )

I'm sure the T. will change for the better!!

thanks Aldo - I am trying sound therapy at present with Sound Oasis box and it seems to be helping - just keep volume of box at a gentle level below the T sound - i wish i had started this months ago . I live in Aberdeen , Scotland which is probably somewhat better than some of the larger cities in UK, which have an overwhelmed NHS service. I see u take Gaba , which is actually illegal in UK and cannot be purchased ( for some irrational reason) Do u find that the Gaba helps the T

I'm doing everything I told you. And helped me. Is Sound Oasis different from everything that can be found in youtube?

hello! My sister lives in Edinburgh. I'm glad to read you're better with Sound Oasis box. Why is GABA illegal in UK?

not sure why its banned , the UK Health authority is nervous about supplements which have effect in the brain - its fairly harmless substance from what i've seen online ( if used correctly) - just not poss to buy in UK - although is available on overseas based supplement sites

I have just started using the Pink noise ( on a low volume) on SO box - T seems calmer somehow - cant believe it. May not last though I shall have to see

I don't know, sorry. But if you TRY ALL of this, I'm sure in two or three month you’ll be much better!!

1.- Mother tincture of Passinflower plant at night, but you don,t have to take medicine for sleep!

2.- Magnesium L-Threonate (only this Magnesium works well with T.) in the morning and five hours before sleep.

3.- GABA with Gingko Biloba and L-Theanine before breakfast.

4.- Control your blood pressure and detects if you snore or have cervical problems.

Keep in touch and best wishes!!

I suppose until the medical prof can agree on the causes they will be reluctant to prescribe. Though of course for more serious causes they can do more to treat. My thinking on this is the prof does not understand the reason for most instances of T and the evidence shows that most people who have T are not in any real medical danger, its similar for migraine sufferers, not many options for treatment.
