My tinnitus tends to be one chronic day followed by the next none. The chronic day the noise travels from ear to ear.

This has been going on for three months now.

Does anyone out there have a similar pattern?

Hello Riverdale2021,I’m sorry your suffering too. Yes I think we are all having our different funny patterns with our T . It’s all very frustrating . There are lots and lots of posts written on here which I’m sure might help you. Your fairly new to tinnitus snd it really does take time to adjust your brain into coping , but it will get a bit easier in time . Keep calm and go for plenty of walks . There are books out there too that can be very helpful.

I have actually had tinnitus for over 15 years which I manage OK with my hearing aids and various other things. What I have now is a second noise which resembles a jet engine and the noise travels from one ear to the other.

ThisI have every other day which is just weird.

How can one day be tinnitus free and the next manic?

I did have an operation for trigeminal neuralgia in January which necessitated them opening me up behind my ear. So the second noise may well be as a result of this.

But it is still a mystery as to why one day is tinnitus free and the next terrible.

I have read Julian Hills book and follow his advice for reflexology and CBT.

I just wondered whether anyone else had the same pattern as me.
