I have been suffering from T 6 months, ear blocking and dizzenes...
I think the cuase of my situation is related to TMJ... yesterday I had my mouthguard ... I noticed today that my T got worse ... (Im not sure, because it sometimes get louder for some hours or minutes and then it decreas a little bit)... in both cases my T is loud...
Anyone tried a mouthguard before and helped? Or ever make things worst?
Should I give it a try for more time?
P.s: the nithguard is made by profesional doctor espacial for me ....
Anyone tried it? Did it effect emidiatly?

Hi RaneenI have a mouth guard too for bottom teeth - sometimes I wake up & T is worse sometimes not - often I can’t stand wearing it & take it out. My issue is that it doesn’t stop me from clenching which I think is what is tightening the muscles & affecting my T. My dentist has suggested Botox injections for the jaw - which I may try but am a bit nervous about. I suggest you talk to your dentist & let them know how it’s affecting you & see if they can come up with a solution. 😊
Thank you soo much for your reply ... I'm sorry to hear that your mouthgaurd didnt help you stop clenching ... if you conseder using botox, let us know what the effect was... best wishes for you... I dont know yet what is my problem.. I have an MRI in 2 weeks.. I will wait and go back to my doctor after doing an MRI ...
I will try give it a try for this 2 weeks, but Im afraid it will make the T worse ...
When you T is worse by putting your mouthguard on, dose it worsen for some time and then came back to its level again during the day?
How many times you put it in the week?
For me the nightguard is not bother me that much (if it help me with the T and earblockibg and dizzness I will ware ir 24/7 😂😂) ...
