I have intermittent tinnitus. Every few weeks the ringing starts and gradually gets louder over a few days then ends up either with a head full of pressure or vertigo. Is this menieres?

I had , hopefully now burnt out, menieres. When it started I kept getting vertigo then vomiting. This went on for a few hours. Previously I had very unwell. When it was active I would get a lot of pain in the affected ear and vertigo. This went in for years. It has left me with balance problems and permanent tinnitus.

Not everyone gets pain. After the initial attack I very rarely vomitted. So you could have it or labyrinthitis. Whichever it is I wish you good luck and send you gentle hugs. It's a b awful thing to cope with.
