Go to your doctor. Pulsatile T sometimes does have a treatable root cause.

Have you tried a tinnitus masker? I have one that has a range of sounds so that you focus on that instead (the waves on a beach sound is quite soothing). There are lots available if you search on Amazon.
Hi, I hear you..(that's almost funny). Can you tell me what you are hearing and when, e.g. whoosh, heartbeat, in one or both ears, can you reduce it by changing position etc . Thanks
You are very young but I think pulsatile tinnitus as opposed to constant can mean your blood pressure could be high
See your GP and request an ENT referral to get a correct diagnosis. Inner ear & balance issues with tinnitus here so I feel like I'm moving. Medication & mindfulness app gets me through night
Hi so sorry to hear this at your age 😕
Instead of your GP try and make a appointment wit a ENT that will be better
GP is sometimes a waiste of time and money if they don’t know about Tinnitus
Not saying and hoping you don’t have it
Good luck

It must be awful for you especially at your age but chin up - Difficult to insist with GP for a referral but you absolutely need to - if you feel you need support to do so bring a parent with you to the GP to further insist you get a referral. So many causes for pulsatile tinnitus - and so many of them are treatable -ENT will be able to investigate properly. Good luck and hang on in there.
This sounds like you have got a middle ear inflection where the lining of that area is probably swelled and the blood pressure in the vessels is pressing on the auditory nerve that connects your Cochlea (the part of your ear that receives sound and converts them to electrical signals and the part of the brain that receives these signals). If it a bacterial infection then you will be given anti-biotics but if it is vrial infection that the doctor will tell you to let it clear up on its own. As I have suggested in other posts, make sure that your vitamin B levels especially B3, B6 and B12 levels are maintained as these fight off viral infections and boost your immune system. Also look at your diet as a whole and keep off fats, sugar and salts until it clears up. Use sound replacement therapy to mask the sound of the tinnitus which does not get rid of it but your brain ignores the sound of it.
Hi Joey, I suffer big time with this crap condition, and don't get much sleep either, BUT I will say my partner had your problem and it was a build up of fluid behind her eardrum- she had a grommet fitted and bingo, it went! So talk to the doc, you should be able to sort it, good luck!
