ear problems

hi was at gp two weeks ago , i feel fluid in my ear and deep pain in ear, just feel rubbish like i have flu most days, she look in ear and said couldnt see anything for wax so referred me to ent i got apt for 10th april, is it possible to have infection behind the wax,? gp cant clean out as i have to have ear suction at ent xx plus hearing feels distorted and tinnitus comes and goes thanks xx

Yes very possible to have infection behind wax. I hope that the fluid doesn’t smell, I had that for yrs and it AINT NICE at all.
