Maybe I’m missing something

I keep reading on here I’ve been diagnosed with T how do you get diagnosed. My T is really loud in both ears but no one has ever diagnosed me with T. Mind you I suppose I don’t need any doctor to tell me as head is screaming T 24/7 sorry ranting on but even though I’ve had T for a long time now. Mild from start but January 2018 suddenly out of the blue massive spike. Now loud as hell so can anyone think off anything to try yes I’ve tried quite a bit but anything I’ve not tried I will. Obviously I no it won’t stop it but something that might just calm it a bit as I will not stop until I find something. Well on with the fight John and keep positive. Cheers guys

It is a bit of a strange one. It does make me smile / sigh in resigned despair when people ask 'is this tinnitus' or 'do I have tinnitus'. If you have it, you'll know. If you're not sure, think yourself lucky.

I would go to your GP and let them check your ears to make sure no build up of wax or damage to the inner ear then hopefully you will be referred to ENT who should refer you for a MRI scan to make sure that there are no underlying reasons for your tinnitus, and take it from there
