Ive had tinnitus for around two years now, Its slowly getting worse Ive had inner ear scans / MRI to see if they could find any issues.... but sadly they couldnt find anything wrong inside.
Can anyone offer some advice on how to manage the noise?
Thanks

I would suggest asking your GP for a referral to audiology for a hearing test and the possibility of a masker, which may help to distract your brain from the tinnitus noise.
A good audiologist should be able to advise you on ways to tame your T.
The BTA website has useful information too and products to help you cope eg the sound oasis which helps to get a good night’s sleep.
First of all, know that you are not alone. Many more people have it than you'd think. If you start asking around, you'll find it's a wide spread epidemic. I've had raging T for 6 months and it only gets worse but what dose get much better is your ability to cope with it. Sometimes people get better and often knowbody knows why. I watch this site, looking for clues and to confide in my fellow T sufferers but so far, the best medicine for most is to try to distract yourself by keeping the mind busy. Don't stress out over it or anything else for that matter as it will surely make it spike up.
Stay tuned to latest research and best wishes for your comfort.
