Puretone Audimed Tinnitus systems

Just received QUIET magazine and the Naturecare Relaxation Therapy Ball is advertised at a very reasonable price and I am sure that it works but what is not clear is whether the sounds are through it's internal speakers or plug in speakers or pillow speakers/headphones. I guess a lot of people already use this ball and I would love to hear their comments although as I said the price is so affordable that it is almost a must buy for me.

Hi Swindonian the naturecare ball is a excellent buy might not work for everyone but it does for me it uses its own internal speaker, The one I own is several years old and does not have a jack plug to use external speakers with I don't know if that is still the case, if a jack plug was included then you would be able to attach pillow speakers to it which would be useful.

All the best, Sammie

Thank you Sammie, I wasn't able to reach Puretone over the weekend but just managed to and they confirm that there is no jack plug in this model, you have to upgrade to the Oasis V3 or Oasis Travel if you want to plug in. I think in the meantime I will stick with my continuous play walkman plus my sound headband. This combination actually works although the headband makes you look like a Ninja Turtle and is very warm. I have the added problem of wearing a cpap mask in bed for my sleep apnoea so it really is a case of dressing up to go to bed, not too bad in the winter but not great in the summer.
