Hi Folks, I hope everybody is doing well, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if hearing aids with the tinnitus therapy signal option are available through the NHS, just recently there have been some great feedback regarding these, I have had NHS my hearing aid for about 5 years and was just wondering if I could possibly upgrade to one of these?

Regards Sammie.

I hav NHS hearing aids with a tinnitus therapy signal option which do help mask tinnitus. I come under the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, but it will probably vary by area.

Agree with Mark's comments, I think it would depend on the individual NHS Trust you're dealing with. They all set their own standards of care and provision etc, so you're at their mercy. There probably is something where you can asked to be referred to a different Trust, but I can't imagine that would be a simple process.
