Subclinical hypothyroidism

I was always told I had secondary hypothyroidism and suddenly my clinic has me listed as subclinical or mild hypothyroidism. How can you be on levothyroxine 137 and be listed as mild? Is this a new label after twenty years?

Sounds like lack of communication and a bad dose of crossed-wires. Or just plain ignorance. Someone hasn't read your note correctly! Subclinical hypo is in no way the same thing as Secondary Hypo. The first is a failing thyroid, the second is a pituitary problem. Do you have your results from when you were diagnosed?
