I woke up to dried blood on my pillow. Are nosebleeds associated with thyroid problems? Thank you

I've never had one in 45 years of being diagnosed hypothyroid.

I've never heard there to be a connection between nosebleeds and hypothyroidism, but there can sometimes be an interaction between levothyroxine and vitamin K antagonists such as warfarin, whereby the effect of the antagonist can be increased causing nose or gum bleeds or bruising etc. It's resolved by reducing the dose of the Warfarin etc. Are you taking any blood thinner medication?

I used to get nose bleed when I had a high red blood cell count and High iron, I used to bleed from my nose a lot.. maybe something you need to check on.

I had a lot of nose-bleeds in the days before being optimally treated. I was told it was probably to do with my high-ish blood pressure - which certainly was hypo-related. But, never found a doctor that took any interest in nose-bleeds.

I had nose bleeds when taking selenium supplements. My platelets are low and it made the situation worse.
