Hi Jean,

How beautifully written and heartfelt your post was. You have captured how so many of us Graves sufferers have felt with this disease.

Thanks for sharing - I have sent it on to my closest friend, who said to me recently that she couldn’t understand the difference between being hyperthyroid and having Graves - and what was the big deal? She did not say it in a mean way, but genuinely was baffled by the whole thing. I had to explain it to her - and only then did she realize how it was so serious a condition.

Thank you and you are welcome. I know how hard it was for me, and still is although somehow handling it now. If it helps anyone else out there my struggle doesn't feel like a waste 🙂
