I’ve come down with a truly bad cold, sorest throat ever and to add to the mix, unable to keep food down if I can get it down in the first place, belleeurrrggghhhh.....
I can’t get my Levo down, and if it goes in it’s back up within half hour. Sorry for image.
My question is...... on the Levo front what do u do? Not take it until can - hopefully only a couple of days until the worst passes? Or, should I keep trying to take it.
Im worries about not taking it for a few days but I literally can just get tweety sips of water in at the moment things are so bad.
I think I read that a few missed days wld take harm as it’s stored up in bod? But not sure. I’ve missed 2 days so far not for lack of trying and hoping this passes soon.
Thank you for anyone who has time to respond to this. Northie, currently best friends with toilet and bathroom floor. :((

You poor thing, sounds like norovirus which is highly infectious. Missing levothyroxine for several days won’t make a massive difference in the long term. That said once you can keep down more than a few sips you could take your levothyroxine, (definitely an empty stomach !), then your normal dose at at your normal time. So sorry you are suffering take care.
Levothyroxine has a long half life compared with Liothyronine so you probably won't be experiencing any effects yet, of not having it - I've gone away for a weekend without mine in the past, and also forgotten that the surgery was closed when I've left it to the last minute to pick up my prescription, and run out of my tablets, without a problem. When we are very poorly, we can find that T4 produces more RT3 than T3, so effectively have our active T3 reduced in any case irrespective of the level of T4. As soon as you feel able, start taking it again; but I wouldn't worry if you need to take it with food to address any lingering gut issues - the exigencies of your stomach upset are such that it's best to have it in your system even if slightly under-absorbed, than it be taken alone and the resulting upset results in it being ejected! Hope you feel better soon.
