Hello everyone. I am a 57 year old vegan with hypothyroidism, which I have had for 2+ years and would love to hear from other vegans. Without going into great detail of all my symptoms. Briefly I have gained two and a half stone in weight and gone from a very happy, healthy, fit, outgoing person to a completely different one. The doctors in the highlands are very much "Well, dear, it's your age-what can you expect? ...next please." or try to pass over ant-depression. I what my life back! help

I'm sorry you've had no replies.
If you want advice on thyroid levels please post your recent thyroid results and ranges in a new post and members will advise whether you are optimally dosed. If you are undermedicated that can cause weight gain. If you have results for ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate please also post them with their ranges.
