Gallstones are a symptom of low thyroid. But, taking levo won't make them go away. Most people have their gall bladder removed. But, I have heard of some that managed to get rid of the stones without surgery. But, I don't know how they did it. You'd have to write a new post with that in the title, to see if you can attract any of them to respond.

I don't know what 'ins' is. Can you write it in full, please? :)

You need to know if the cause of your low thyroid is autoimmune disease (known as Hashimoto's) this is done by testing for high thyroid antibodies

It's the most common reason in UK for being hypo and often there are gut symptoms too

Have you got any test results? If so add them here

Did GP also test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12. Post results if you have them. Very common for these to be low

What dose have you been started on. Did GP explain that Levo must be taken on empty stomach and then nothing apart from water for at least an hour after. Many take first thing in morning, but you can take at bedtime (no food or drink apart from water 2 hours before)

You should have blood test 6 weeks approx after any dose change. Always aim to get tested as early in morning as possible and fasting. Don't take Levo in 24 hours before test, delay and take straight after
