Hi All.
I am new here,
I want to know if your cannot drink VIT D rather at night? - I only started today with a 1000 IU
it is a oral spray - After an hour I really felt that I could go to bed - I read some of your previous posts on this matter - And then a second question on that , if you do feel tired....isn't it nature to tell you that you do not need an extra supplement ? I am about 7 kilos overweight and over 40 years old and almost never see the sun.... if that will help
Welcome to our forum Katryn, but you haven't given any info on your Profile except your introduction
What is your diagnosis hypo/hyper/hashi's, when diagnosed and what is your dose of thyroid hormones?
Someone will respond to your query re Vit D.
Hi, I am on no medication for thyroid, but want to ask if a dry cough has anything to do with your thyroid - coughing like mad every time I eat and it always feels if there is a lump I need to swallow down and my oesophagus feels tight - many thanks
If you haven't seen your doctor re the 'coughing' I believe it should be investigated . He should palpate your neck too to feel if your gland has swollen. If you've not had a blood test for your thyroid hormones, ask GP for a Full Thyroid Panel, TSH, T4, T3, Free T3 and Free T4 and antibodies. Also Vit B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate. The lab may not do all the tests requested but you can get private ones from a Recommended Lab with a small discount if you quote the code number.
The blood test should be fasting and the very earliest posible. This procedure gives a more accurate result. Get a copy of the results with the ranges and post for comments.
