Pleasant surprise

My Husband just mentioned something quite incredible! He's noticed he hasn't had to unblock the bath plughole of my hair recently.... because it appears to have stopped falling out.

I'm actually feeling a bit emotional. 75mcg of levo must be doing the trick. Now I just need to kick this sinus infection :)

I'm happy for you joburton,

My hair has got quite thin this past 2 years and it so frustrating. It was low B12 that caused it and I have started taking biotin in the hope that it will improve over time.

Nails were badly affected as well. If it's not 1 thing it's another.

Take care Jo

I've been supplementing B12, vit D, etc too, so I don't know what's doing it (but I'm not about to try eliminating either to find out! Lol).

Have noticed my nails aren't as brittle either. If it wasn't for this site, I would be listening to my GP and still be feeling like crapola on 25mcg of Levo.

Glad you, and your husband, are seeing an improvement. How long is it since your medication was increased? If it's 6 weeks plus you need to get your bloods done again incase you need another increase!

It's been 3 weeks since increase from 50mcg - planning blood test mid March :)

That is great news joburton, it is wonderful to hear good things. Take care x

Gosh, how do you train a husband to clean the bath? Wish I had one like that!

I picked one with a bit of OCD, lol. All training was just minor refinement on the base model.
