I'd read that 08 study before - chilling - but it seems v strange that no one has followed up what is now quite an old piece of research.
That below TSH 1 is a risk for Alzheimers is disturbing, because a lot of people seem to feel better below 1.

Yes you are right, my GP said it was bad to have TSH below 1 as bad for your bones, not sure what she was talking about tbh.
It might be right. My friend who had early onset Alzheimer's was, about a year before his diagnosis, told he had no thyroid activity at all.
