Some "advantages" of being hypo
Amazing heart rate you must do lots of physical... - Thyroid UK
Amazing heart rate you must do lots of physical activity says GP. I actually am hypothyroid doc ;-).
This needs to be included in the weirdest things said by doctors. There's a posting about this and must be dozens and dozens of comments. I laughed till I cried they were so hilarious.
i can't find it now. Someone should re-post or link to it.
My normal resting heart rate is alway around 44-50, even though my bp is around 160/85
I'm the same real turbo are you on medication for bp?
Not on medication, was thinking of getting doctor to prescribe, but am now thinking maybe I should try to optime thyroid first to see if that brings the bp down...
realturbo..you are very hypo and those levels are abnormal.
faith63, my last blood results were
TSH 6.85 mlU/L [0.34 - 5.6]
Free T4 10.70 pmol/L [7.5 - 21.1]
vitamin B12 610 ng/L [180.0 - 914.0]
Vitamin D 44 nmol/L
Free tryodothyronine from previous test was 5.50 pmol/L [3.8 - 6.8]
My blood results previous to the last one showed a TSH of around 20 mlU/L [0.34 - 5.6], so it seems to be heading downwards. If it hasn't gone down further by the next test then I will be looking to increase levo or maybe adding T3 to the levo, or perhaps a combination of levo and NDT...
My BP and heart rate change when I am hypo. And there seems to be no consistency about whether my BP and heart rate go up or down.
I've had times where my BP was high and my heart rate was low. I've also had times where my BP was low, and my heart rate was high. But they never really end up both high or both low. I don't know why it works that way.
