NAX and weight gain

I have been on NAX for a few months and am gaining weight. Has anybody else gained weight on it. IT would make sense to me that you would gain weight as I suppose it contains cortisol. My cortisol was low when tested. I take 4 Nax a day before I get up in the morning.

Corticosteroids have an effect on appetite. They increase it. Ask anyone whose been on prednisone or one of the other ones...... sure they cause water retention but they also can make people eat more. Sc*ews with blood glucose too.

Maybe lower the dose?

see whats in it. HC made me swell up with fluid. I didn't eat more, bp went up too. Felt terrible on it..even a tiny bit.
