I sleep 8 hours. Before I get up my pulse is 54 - after my shower its 75 and I am exhausted. During the day I gradually get more energy
That all sounds pretty normal, your pulse will be slower on waking then increase as you get going, pulse of 75 is perfect.
That's kind of a statement of fact. Did you mean to ask a question? Are you on medication? Are you unhappy with your symptoms, your medication, something else?
I have ME/CFS migraines and hypothyroidism. I'm on 80 mcg T3. Despite that I'm still sluggish in the mornings. It takes me twice as long as it would a well person to shower and prepare to leave the house. It is a very exhausting processes.
The only advice I can give is make sure the shower water isn't too hot. I've found that if if had a hot shower that can make me ill. It's hard to explain more. But it's a balance between thinking you're having a cold uncomfortable per and a shower that could be bit cooler.
My energy also picks up as the day progresses. But no getting out of the door or whatever in the morning isn't a way to get me functioning.
I undertook burrito breathing. I was advised to sleep with a strip of microphones tape over my lips. Actually sleeping with my mouth closed stops me hyperventilating and I'm not as groggy in the mornings.
But still I have this underlying normal energy pattern you mentioned, which ultimately is barrier to work and living normally. Although there are times when I don't feel so bad... certainly if I suffer post recreational fatigue it makes the mornings tough.
Do you have a hot shower every morning?
Try a large glass of water before you go in .
Alao have you had your vitamins checked? B12,d,folate etc and iron ?
Not at all. Really I judge the extent to which getting showered is a priority on a given day. If going somewhere yes, but if at home doing everyday things no. I always find myself thinking water after my shower, wouldn't hurt to drink water first to be sure.
I recall having some blood tests for various vitamins. The ones you mention were ok.
I actually astonish some people amount of supplements I have. If I have many more won't fit in my tablet containers.

When you have been told you have ME/CFS, migraines, oh and the very unhelpful atypica fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism, I do wonder ext to which it's possible to fully recover. Considering I was virtually bed ridden at one point, I'm doing something right though.
