I have had lower back pain for 5 days now more so when I try moving from a seat should I have it checked out or is it an age thing I am 53?
Have it checked out. It could be anything or nothing but better to be sure. Are you a thyroid patient? Any other symptoms?
Pain down my left leg still have numbness from a bypass 18 months ago.
Hypo tailbone does exist it seems - perhaps you need an increase in your dose....
I also have this and complained for years eventually having another blood test that told me i was vit D deficient and an x ray that told me i had Scoliosis.I don't know if its these that are causing the pain or my Hypothyroidism but it just shows how you can find things about yerself you didn't know.
When I stand up I get slight pain down my buttocks and leg.Just read it could be sciatica and pain can last for weeks maybe months.
Hi Buddydan, I had similar to you, buttocks pain and down legs like sciatica pain, I found Vit D3 relieved it and now the pain has almost gone, unless I forget to take my D3. I started off being prescribed 1000iu by my Doctor who found my D bloods were slightly deficient.
My 'cure' only came about by chance, I was lucky and would never have guessed D3 could have helped me. It also cured my restless leg problem too. 
Ibeen also have this, have had it for years, but now I seem to lean forward also, feel like I'm 82, instead of 52. I have been thinking of going to the doc cos been reading it could be MS .
Forgot to say have hypo on 50mgs of Levothyroxine.
