Hi May be thick but not sure what you mean. if a colour of skin problem, this is autoimmune but is not treated and quite safe.If scaly, may be Lupus, autoimmune, needs checkng out. Once you have one autoimmune disease, usually thyroid is, then you have to watch for others.

Best wishes,

Jackie

Hi Jackie, I'm sorry about my description, will try again. About a year ago, a small red dry patch above one eye have had hydrocortisone and many other creams which have not helped, the patch now covers whole area above eye and below is dry, red and sore/ itchy. I am sure its to do with my hashi but can't seem to convince Dr, Help?

Hi, I had some red, raised lumps around my mouth and along my nasal labial lines, they looked like spots but didn't have a head and they were really making me depressed -- went to the doctor who gave me four different creams in as many weeks but nothing worked. I read somewhere that Sudocreme is a great treatment for acne so I thought I would give it a whirl and it cured my spots within a matter of couple of days. I now use it if and when Try it and see what happens -- it's about £3 so you aren't going to lose anything by giving it a try. Good luck!

Could it be Eczema ? My son always had problems with eczema on his eyes . It turned out he was allergic to all prescribed creams . He has used a cream suitable for Vegans for a long time now and he hardly ever gets a flare . Sorry cannot remember the name but I could find out for you Chezp .

Presumably not impetigo (a strep infection, AFAIK) as the GP would have spotted it. For that it's used to be boracic acid powder dissolved in water to bathe and a strong anti-biotic (streptomycin in my day!).
