Hi Bridb, I too have underactive tyroid and PA. My BP was always low before starting T4,then it went up. So perhaps a little bit more info. Meds and blood tests Oh and BP.xx

Hi not sure what pa is. However, lots of causes of low BP, not treated in UK. how low is it What is your sodium level, blood U`s and E`s, kidney function)Are you taking Bp with a cuff, am and Pm, varies a lot. Do you drink enough, water etc?What drugs are you on? Is your thyroid stable, TSH,T4 and FT3? When did it start. overdose in thyroid meds possible too.

Rod, As it happens, there are lots of causes. I have dangerously low BP and do not have pernicious Anaemia..Some times you can mislead people.,good to give info, but not to the exclusion of other causes.

All I said, Jackie, is that the abbreviation PA, in this context, is most often Pernicious Anaemia. No intention of saying anything more than that.
