How often are your thyroid tests if you've Hashimoto's? My GP won't test more frequently than three months. Feel my levels change more often

While you're getting your dose right it should be every six weeks or so. Having said that, I'm on three monthly or sooner if I feel the need, which is a reasonable compromise for me. I prefer to go on how I feel, so am not anxious to be tested too often. It only encourages my GP to work off my TSH lol.
HI If stable 3 months OK, however,not if unstable or feel "off". Levo and T3 do take 4-6 weeks to be at max, or min if reducing,,NDT quicker. It is probably due to costs. If you are not happy and cannot get the extra tests, use on line, unfortunately your safety is important, so costs!
