Essentially a blog is where you can log things. You might ask yourself , "what kind of things". Well, really anything relating to how thyroid condition affects your life.

So, you can write about anything from how thyroid impacts your family life to the side effects of certain drugs to how it makes you feel emotionally or physically.

One of the best ways to foster a sense of community is to post a testimonial blog: when were you diagnosed and what has the journey been like since that point?

Blogs can be as short as you like so don't feel you need loads of content. Simply post what's on your moind.

That's it go blog so we can read and comment.

I always had an enlarged thyroid (for about 9 ears). In 2009 I had a thyroid taken out along with one parathyroid. My 3 remaining parathyroids are working with the help of Levothyroxine 150 MCG tab. (I was just prescribed a lower dose from 175 MCG.)

I recieved low iodine radiation therapy for two years, and just last year received an injection of Thyrotropin Alpha .9MG .

My endocrinologist isn't very personable, and it took him "much too long" to find out that the levothyroxine levels were not correct. (Having Parkinson's also, I tend to blame everything on PD.)

It would be much easier if I only had one thing wrong. Parkinsons, thyroid concerns, arthritis, scoliosis, and a skin disorder seem to keep me on my guard.

"Life is never boring!" :o)
