Nodules should always be checked by competent medical people, best by an endocrinologist, any cancer caught early has very good outcomes

I agree, thyroid nodules should always be checked, ultra sound by appropriate specialist and further tests done if considered necessary. Lots of comprehensive information on Hashimotos/nodules on the Thyroid WA website
