It would be good to chat discuss all things IBS with like minded people. Anyone know of any Self Help groups etc in the Nwest?set 1 up maybe
No I don't, its over looked I feel! Good to set up groups in our areas really, if the Internet would be there. That's a good idea.
i live in the Mansfield not ts area and been asking for self help groups in my area but there is none when there should be its sillt really as i feel there should be.
None in the Sheffield/Chesterfield area either - that's why I joined this - a gap in the market if you ask me!!
Everybody seems all over the UK. There are most definitely so many IBS sufferers, but many suffer in silence and find it a taboo to talk about its embarassing nature. I know i suffered in silence for so so long. Maybe we still can organise something, set up a group and meet somewhere, once every few months or so. Travellings hard with IBS, will take a bit of organising with distances. But hey if theres a will, theres a way. Just putting it out there. Would guys be up for it though? Obviously is there is no local uptake for it
