Hi there, has anyone tried Juvia? A consultant from IBS Network recommended it for bloating, it is very expensive but when desperate I’ll try anything. Thanks.

not sure I looked it up it’s just digestive enzymes. I’d recommend hydration I mean plenty of potassium and magnesium and extra pinches of salt

Agree, just digestive enzymes though quite an impressive array of them! I'd consider that having sufficient stomach acid and bile flow are just as, if not more, important for digestion.

Yes, I tried it recently for about 12 weeks. If you are intolerant to carbs then this will probably help as it helps with digesting carb heavy foods. However, it was a long shot for me as I have a relatively low carb diet and when I do eat things like oatmeal and potatoes etc I do not have a flare up. So when it did not work I was not too suprised. No unwanted side effects, so the only cost was financial. Juvia have a good website which you should check out as there is plenty more detail on that.
