Diazepam and ibs-c
It is OK, but just don't take too many as you can become dependent on them
Yes its ok and I find it very helpful as its a tranquilliser and it relaxes you so it helps the pain which is worse with tension. But it can be addictive so dont take it fir more than a few days at a time and Drs are reluctant to prescribe it which worries me as .i like to keep some by me in case of attacks.
I have IBS-M and I take Diazepam for air travel. And on those days I don’t need to take Pepto or Immodium. I’m not sure if it improves my condition or if I just don’t give a damn about it. Lol
That’s when I take it as well as I get anxious about travelling . Tomorrow I need to travel on the bus first time since lockdown started here to go to hearing clinic . But they just take my hearing aid and fix it and hand it back 20 minutes later . Ive to wait at the door . So no hearing aid I’m totally deaf and it effects my balance to . So see how that goes . 😀
Hi - I took this years ago for a non-IBS related issue and it helped me. Did not make my IBS worse and helped me through a stressful time in life. I did not have any problems with addiction and stopped after a few weeks but i understand that is the main risk with these meds
