Hi everyone . Has anyone had h pylori? And if so, what were your symptoms? I know everyone is different with symptoms. Some people say they feel it in there chest, and some say gassy, some say stomach bloating, some say intestine flare up from the bacteria. But i really would like everyone’s opinion on this site. Thank you.
Hello RuzuzI had it ,and oh my .....18 month in to it and I m still struggling and fed up 
Started with very bad indigestion, like every day .
Then pain ( slight) in upper abdomen, just under breasts in the middle
Went to gp , hpylari test done - positive ! Week of antibiotics, not any better.
Another test - still hpylari positive - more antibiotics
After that test came back negative !
Relief u think ? If only ,as I said I m still struggling with stomach, some day its better then another's.
Was told it could take a wile to repair stomach lining, but would thought a year in to it I would see the light at the end of the tunnel
Every day one or two of those - upper bloating, pain in the middle or left side (upper )feel sickish .no indigestion as all this time doctor prescribed me daily Lansoprazole. And I red that its not good to take it was so long
So what do u do
Tried natural remedies- peppermint capsules and tea , cedar nut oil, apple cider vinegar and the rest .so tyred of it and fed up
On top of everything else that happening in the world right now

I am having the same type of pain which you are describing. I had been diagnosed with H pylori 6 months ago. Antibiotics makes my stomach more upset so I tried medicines in Homeopathic and Natural remedies but my problems are increasing with more frequent pains and flare ups. I think I have to go for antibiotic treatment sooner or later. Let me know if any things helps you like for me Gas-X helps me a lot in my bloating pain.

I was diagnosed with h pylori in October after an endoscopy but no ulcer or gastritis was found.
Did my triple therapy treatment with Amoxicillin, clarithromycin and ppi for 7 days 2 months ago but my increase acidity symptoms are still there. I am on omeprazole 20mg daily to manage this.
My symptoms basically are :
Upper abdominal Stomach tighness
Chest pain (sometimes,)
Felling of lump in the throat
Getting full after eating little food
Acidity is worse when the stomach is empty but also an hour or so after eating
My doctor suggested testing if h pylori has been cleared but wants me to stop omeprazole completely for 2 weeks which is very difficult.
As an alternative i had another 7 day course of antibiotics and ppi on the assumption that it has not cleared with the first treatment. Just second course on 12 Jan.
I haven't tested for h pylori again because I am finding it very difficult to operate with omeprazole. So will wait to see if symptoms subsides before stopping omeprazole and resting
Has anyone experience similar symptoms due to h pylori or could it be something else.
I Don't get any heatburn or food coming back up.

Hi Ham. My apologies. I just read you did have h pylori. But when you say flare ups, are you meaning pain or just feeling the flare ups. That what I feel. Right side flare up between my hip and rib. But no pain. It’s really frustrating. Not sure if it’s because I had h pylori and mite still have it or what. But I’m going for a breath test on Thursday or Friday so let’s see if it’s still in my system causing this.

It can take months for symptoms to finally disappear
Hi Ruzuz (and everyone). I, too, had h pylori over 30years ago and it was only when I had a burst duodenal ulcer but still had problems that I was tested for h pylori. I had the triple treatment which made me feel very ill and I was found not to tolerate one of the medicines however we persisted and eventually the h pylori was gone! The pain which I had before the ulcer burst was indescribable, suffice to say that I had to keep lying on my front to get some relief. I thought that I was feeling anxious as my dad was in hospital with CJD (mad cow disease) and I thought that these feelings and the pain was due to everything that was going on in my life. Anyway, that horrible time is over now and I don't like to dwell on it as it tends to make me feel down in the dumps!! I've been taking omeprazole for 30 years and honestly couldn't do without it now as I still have the acid feelings and sickness still.
