I presume you are asking because both oxo and bisto are not gluten free? Try stock pots and Knorr cubes as according to their website they are gluten free

No I’m not gluten intolerant I’m just trying to find foods that might be triggering my flare ups. For the past 4 weeks I’m getting IBS D every other day

You are doing the right thing but you need to keep a food diary to be certain of what maybe causing the probs

White foods can help I’ve heard. Things like white rice, chicken and potatoes. They tend to help prevent diarrhoea🥰

Massel gravy is gluten free and it doesn't have onion or garlic in (can be irritants to ibs)

I use Kallo chicken gravy. Available at Sainsbury’s. It’s gluten free. (Does have garlic in ingredients but doesn’t upset me in small One portion amounts.)

For me gravy has been a problem. In my days, there was no such thing as gravy in a carton, mother made the gravy home made and served in a gravy boat. I hate these processed gravys. I keep well away from onion gravy. Barbaque gravy, gravys in pies like family steak pie I tend to get a problem with. Dip gravy like kfc gravy rarely affects me. I would suggest making it as weak as possible, than thick. Most sources i dont eat now. Pasta source, creamy taligaterria or the like gives me cramps. Fi d a brand with fine granules, like an own brand, i dont use bisto its to savoury for me

What’s the best bread for IBS

I use the meat juices, and the potato water or your greens water, then put Cross&Blacwell gravy browning, just as my mother did. I had a next door neighbour with Celiac decease and that was all she could use.

When it comes to Bread, well I’ve tried them all,I’m not gluten intolerant but I am yeast intolerant. So as one lady above advised Some Knorr cubes are yeast free.

If you ever find a bread that suits you let us know. At the moment I have Warburtons Danish, and it’s lovely.

Thank you so much. I shall try the warburtons bread

Many people don't realise that multigrain intolerance, egg and dairy are common food intolerances. I had tests for over 64 foods in different food groups and removed all potential irritants and after many years of problems the new diet resolved the problem. White flour is highly processed and has a bleach to make it whiter. it is said that whole grain flours brown bread, are better but if you do have wheat, barley, rye ,rice, maize cornflower, and foods such as malt barley, whisky, maltesers ,marmite, you might have reactions. There are several types of IBS and some have constipation and diarrohea, others just diahrroea, and another sort mainly constipation. As my diet usually started with toast and marmalade, or boiled egg and toast, these were all allergens for me and so my day would start with the symptoms. Dairy with lactase, and casein in milk and cheese, can also create the symptoms of iBS. Luckily I can eat meat fish potatoes green vegetables most fruits, and can eat oats, so am able to eat well and dont go hungry. I'm sorry I cant answer your question about gravy, bread and flour, as it all depends on you and your unknown sensitivities.
