My gp said omeprazole can cause alzeimers and weak bones

Aspirin and diclofenac can cause tummy troubles (ulcers), but tell someone who needs the pain relief or the blood thinning effect of their drugs. All drugs have a counter balance, what your medics and you have to decide, between you, is what side effects are worth chancing against what the medicine can do for you. No one can answer that question, except you.

All meds have side effects. as FRreedman mentions. Herbal remedies are usually better able to not cause side effects as they naturally aren't so harsh and intense and contain natural anti-side-effect components so u could try them. Ginger tea for wind n better digestion. peppermint tea for cramps.
