Colax
Hi IBS.
When I first started having IBS 28 years ago, I was on it and it did help . I was on it for two weeks.
I had no problems with it.
Im not on it now , but back then it did help.
I also changed my diet an avoided anything that would kick the IBS off.
I hope you get done relief.
I actually take Duplac every day an it prevents you from getting clogged up.
I hope this helps.🤗 Keep strong
I just had a reply to my recent post on here (as I too suffer from chronic and severe constipation). I am normally wary about "colon cleansers" because I think aren't laxatives the same thing, since they both "clear you out". I currently have been taking Senna tablets for five years..but just tired of living like this. I take it on Sundays as I live in a group home where there is staff here on weekdays, groups, etc and weekends are my only "private" time. But the weekend "grind" is getting the best of me and I am fed up and just want something to help me have a bowel movement every day. My friend got her colon perforated on Colax..so I don't think I want to take a colon cleanser. What about something like Prucolapride..it's not a laxative, but something you take (Medication) to have a bowel movement every day..I'm going to see my gastro about this med. It just got approved by FDA to be used for constipation (chronic) in U.S.
Thank you for the info. Do you know if your friend used Colax regularly or just occasionally?
I just left you a reply but think it went to wrong person..Just scroll down for my reply. I hope it is helpful..x
