Hydrogen test

Hi anyone know if any hospitals in Kent do the hydrogen breath test please.

I’m not sure of nhs hospitals. There is a lovely private gastro in West Kent I would recommend if you could afford treatment. You could search him under West Kent Gastro (not sure if I am meant to use names here) I’ve seen him as one off but did cost £220. He used to be an nhs consultant. I’m under gastroenterology team in Kent but doubt they will be offering very much....

Hi Alysm,

I wanted to have a breath test done and also a comprehensive stool test which were both done at home with the guidance of a Functional Medicine Practitioner not cheap but well worth finding out what is going on my breath test come back fine but had problems in the stool test so she was able to tell me what to do and put me on the right path. So for you I would recommend finding a Functional Medicine Practitioner for your breath test.

Thank you for your replies. I am having it done by the functional gut clinic in London, they also hold a clinic once a month at the Tunbridge Wells Spire Hospital.
