Has anyone been prescribed Citalopram for IBS?

I'd be interested to hear some success stories!!

Hello there. Yes I was perscribed this and it was a "no" from me. This was not until I was told by my gp to perserver, gosh awful. I take omeprazole and these two tablets do not mix. The side effects were the worst. I tried to perserver and they did not work. So getting off them was another mountain to climb. Might work for you though.

Interested to find out how you find them.

Hi Frankie I was on this 5 years ago now and the first few days were very difficult but having said that it sorted my problem out after 6 weeks Pleased to say have not been on any further medication since then
