Can endometriosis appear?

Hi

I was just wondering I was told for years I had endo them had my lap 3 weeks ago to find no endo but adenomyosis and bowel tissue where some was removed. However I don’t know how the scar tissue got into the bowel in the first place and out of curiosity was wondering could endo appear at any time ? Say if I had another lap in 5 years time could it appear even if it’s been told it’s not there ?

I know my symptoms are adeno related but from my research adeno and endo tend to go hand in hand ?

Endo can be easily missed especially if the person you had surgery by is just a gynecologist and not an endo specialist who's done fellowships...You can always reach out to one of the excision docs that do free case reviews For a second opinion. (fogelson,the cec, divali)
