I’d like advice please. I've been told I may have active tb due to presence of nodule/breathless/fatigue. I am due to have my elderly mum come on Xmas day, for a few hours, am I a threat to her if it is active tb? Thank you

I believe you are only a danger to her over a period of time. Don't think a few hours could pose a danger but I'd check with a health care professional.

Nodule seems to be historic, so was told childhood tb had been fought off without treatment.

Thanks, I found something on tb alert which seems to be you have to spend a lot of time with someone for them to be at risk. So Xmas went ahead as usual!
