Hi Guys,

Any supplements you've been taking to make your lung stronger and more resistant after the ordeal caused by Tuberculosis. I have researched a lot, and there are supplements that are dedicated for lung health. I just don't know if they stand true to their claims.

Any experiences about taking lung support supplements would be of great help.

Hi, for my case my doctor told me to have Vitamin B Complex daily as well. Not lung specific but I am also taking Centrum Multivitamins as well, I checked with my doctor and he told me it's okay.

Also I find some green tea with honey offers some relief to my coughing. Maybe just placebo but I think it's healthy as well.

Hi Roldan123, I’m not sure about supplements, I still have a collapsed lung so hoping it will get back to normal in time. I have been told to try deep breathing, so I’m having a go at regular meditation. It’s super beneficial in many ways regardless! Please keep us updated if you do find any supplements as I’d certainly be keen to know!

I am not aware on any supplements with specific benefits to the lungs. However Vitamin D has long been recommended as a usual supplement for people fighting TB, as it is believed to support immune function.

Also, please make sure to discuss any supplements with your doctor to help avoid any unwanted interactions.
