Have any of you been on mirtzapine - I found it great for anxiety and getting sleep - but seemed to gain about .5kg a week in weight - not a worry to start with but as its keeping going - have tried to come off with awful withdrawal effects - any comments welcome

I consumed as well anxiety drugs during my recovery. Some plants and when the anxiety was too strong i was using chemicals one. I suggest you hypnose as well. From YouTube you can have a look on auto hypnose stuff :) for me it was helpfull :)

Yes I had it for 3 days and got all sorts of withdrawal symptoms tremour was the worst also burning skin there are forums with people discussing their side effects of mirtazapine some are real horror stories

It goes eventually esp if you were on it for a short time

Hi - can I ask how you got on in the end? I’ve been on it for 2 weeks and have put on so much weight it’s triggered my binges and I’ve got in such a horrible spiral. I’m in the worse place I’ve even been, but people keep telling me it’ll be worth it if I keep going. What did you do?

I was forced to take them too, but I was afraid of gaining weight so i spat it out right behind parents. Only few pills changed my mind, I realized... Also better sleeping..I confirm... But I felt like its not *me* and I wont ever take them anymore. So approx. 6 packages are laying in my cupboard haha.

I use to be on mirtazapine but stopped due to the weight gain too. I take lorazepam for my anxiety with no side effects so its worth trying different ones until your happy.
