Hey im 1 week into BN recovery and i weighed myself for the first time. I put on 2 kilos in that time? Was wondering if that's normal or if thats a lot? I had a bit of a freak out from the weight gain but still didnt slip back into old habits. Obviously i feel low from it though

Thank you

It is likely that at some of that weight is water weight because purging dehydrates you also the weight of food/fiber inside of you. You should talk to a dietitian and doctor though if you want information directly about you

I would say its ALL water! Keep going xx

Firstly - great that you've started your recovery journey - I know from experience it is a very scary time so I hope you are getting professional support - if you aren't - then you could ring ABC - but do talk it through with whoever is guiding you - its really important you share how the changes during recovery are making you feel. Much initial weight gain can be fluids - so don't panic - keep going - but do keep talking.
