I'm just on the outskirts of London but come under Kent, I've found I'm in a bit of a no mans land with regards to support groups and things. Beat in London I think run something. Also the dietician I saw recommended Over Eaters Anonymous which seemed strange for anorexia sufferers but if you look on their website they say it's for all eating disorders and eating issues. There appear to be lots of groups meeting in London, but as usual none close to me that I can attend. Setting up a group is a great idea if there are people in your vicinity. Getting through each day I think is the hardest thing and appointments with professionals are limited and waiting lists are so long because of funding pressures.
Good luck in your search and recovery. Feel free to pm me, I'm probably too far out but I would be interested xx
Yeah I've been to an oa meeting and found it quite odd. Beat haven't been helpful I'm my age bracket unfortunately. Hey even a weekend meet up would be great
